I haven’t blogged on the Prince Charles stuff because I don’t care. I certainly don’t think that the ‘scandals’ are a case in themselves for replacing the monarchy with a Republic.
As Roy Hattersley explains, the case against the monarchy should have nothing to do with the personality of the monarch or future monarch. It’s a matter of principle.
