George Bush Blog

Ok I’ll get my coat. When the President of the United States of America has an official weblog then obviously the medium is becoming very mainstream in the US.

I can’t understand why Labour doesn’t do one. A blog, given its frequently updated link-heavy features, is an ideal campaigning tool. It would be a cheap and effective way of getting the party message out.

So far, among the parties in the UK, only The Scottish Socialist Party have a weblog.

As a side issue the news of the Bush Blog news does raise the question of what will happen now to the right-wing US bloggers?

What is the point of reading second rate propaganda for George Bush when you can now get the real thing?
