Today’s Times carries this article reporting on the latest International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA)meeting and Iran’s bad-tempered walk-out when ordered to disclose details of its nuclear programme by the IAEA’s 35 country board of governers.
The meeting followed an IAEA report last month which concluded that highly enriched uranium had been discovered in a nuclear facility near Tehran. Such uranium is used in the manufacture of atomic bombs but the Iranian Government explained the uranium must have come from contaminated equipment imported to Iran and angrily rejected the IAEA ultimatum. Tehran also said it would have to review its co-operation with the IAEA.
I wonder what Iran is trying to hide.
