Il Riformista, the daily newspaper of the progressive and reformist Italian left, has organised a demonstration in Rome on July 9th in support of the Iranian student movement.
Italians are good at slogans and the one for this demo is ‘Siamo Tutti Iraniani’ – We are all Iranians, which I think sums it up very nicely.
There is an outside chance I will be in Rome on the 9th, in which case I will blog the event, but just a question for the international readership of Harry’s Place – is there anything similar planned where you live?
